Slushies are colorful, icy drinks from Neopets, the virtual pet website. They come in all sorts of creative flavors, often themed after different Neopian lands, characters, or elements. You can buy them from the Slushie Shop in Happy Valley, which is run by a friendly blue Bruce. Some slushies are just tasty treats for your Neopet. There are even weird and gross ones, like the Mouldy Slushie (ew). Collecting rare or themed slushies is a small but fun hobby for some players.

Faeries are magical beings in Neopets, each tied to a different element or power. They live all over Neopia, but many of them call Faerieland home. Faeries often help (or sometimes challenge) Neopians by giving out quests, rewarding pets with stat boosts, items, or other special perks.

There are six main types of faeries:
ᐅ Air Faeries – Graceful and speedy, they often give pets agility boosts.
ᐅ Earth Faeries – Gentle and nurturing, they help pets grow stronger.
ᐅ Fire Faeries – Fiery and confident, they increase a pet’s strength.
ᐅ Water Faeries – Mysterious and kind, they improve endurance.
ᐅ Dark Faeries – Mischievous, sometimes sinister, but not always evil.
ᐅ Light Faeries – Bright and wise, they focus on knowledge and insight.

Then there are special faeries, like the Tooth Faerie, Space Faerie, and Battle Faerie, each with unique abilities and lore. The most famous is Fyora, the Faerie Queen, who rules over Faerieland. There’s also Jhudora and Illusen, two rival faeries with their own quest lines. Faeries play a big role in Neopets' world, from blessing pets to being part of stories and events.

Neopia Central is like the heart of Neopia, always busy and full of life. It’s the first place most Neopians visit, a big, colorful city where you can shop, trade, and explore. It’s got a little bit of everything—food for your pets, books to make them smarter, and even a Money Tree where kind Neopians leave free stuff for others to grab. It feels like a real community, with players running their own shops and auctions, hoping to strike a good deal. There’s also the Wishing Well, where you can toss in some Neopoints and hope for a little luck. And if you want to change up your pet’s look, the Rainbow Pool is there for painting them in all sorts of colors. Even though there are fancier lands in Neopia, there’s something special about Neopia Central. It’s where everything starts, where everyone passes through at some point. It’s like the cozy main street of the whole world.

Neopets guilds are like little clubs where players with similar interests can hang out, chat, and share cool stuff. Back in the day, having a guild was a big deal—it was like having your own secret clubhouse, but online. Some guilds were all about battling, others focused on collecting, and some were just there for casual fun and friendships. The best guilds had custom layouts, member rankings, and even special contests or giveaways. If a guild had a fancy layout with matching graphics, you knew they meant business. People would spend hours coding and designing their pages to make them stand out. Guilds also had their own private message boards, which felt like a VIP lounge for members only. Some were super active, with daily discussions and roleplays, while others were just chill spots to share Neopets tips and freebie finds. Finding the right guild was a whole thing—you had to scroll through pages of them, reading descriptions like job postings, hoping to find the perfect one that matched your vibe. And if you ran a guild? That was serious responsibility. Keeping members engaged, updating the page, and making sure it didn’t fizzle out was a full-time gig.

Stamps are one of those things that start as a casual collection and then suddenly become an obsession. They’re little collectible images that you stick into your album, and some of them are so rare they cost millions of Neopoints. Every land in Neopia has its own stamp set—Faerieland, Haunted Woods, Virtupets, you name it. Some are cute, some are creepy, and some look like they were designed just to make collectors cry (looking at you, Queen Fyora Stamp). Once you put a stamp in your album, it’s stuck there forever—so no flipping them for profit later. The biggest flex in Neopia? A nearly full stamp album. Some of those high-tier stamps are so rare that only a handful of players ever get them. And Neopets even added trophies for stamp collecting, which means the elite collectors get to show off their dedication. It’s wild to think that something as simple as a virtual sticker book could drive the Neopian economy, but rare stamp prices are no joke.

User shops are virtual stores that players can create to sell items they've acquired in the game. They allow you to set up your own little shop and sell things like clothing, toys, food, or other items to other Neopians. To set up a shop, you need to go to the Shop page, where you can customize the shop's name, look, and the items you want to sell. The prices of the items are determined by you, but keep in mind that pricing can affect how quickly things sell. If you set your prices too high, people might not buy them, but if you price them too low, you might not make a good profit. Shops are a great way to make Neopoints (the in-game currency) and to get rid of items you don't need anymore. You can also visit other players' shops to find good deals, rare items, or things that are hard to find elsewhere. Overall, it's a fun way to engage with the community and make your Neopian experience a little more personalized!
