ffxiv quick launcher and dalamund

In order to run any mods you must runs your game through FFXIVQuickLauncher. It's a great QOL launcher as a standalone thing. It allows you to automatically log in, check market board price checks, and an in game discord overlay. Dalamund is the modding framework within FFXIVQuickLauncher that allowes mods to be loaded in.
I have heard of people being sketched out by downloading things off of github, always check stars in the top right, ususally sketchy things don't get many stars. Also check and see if a discord is linked in the repo. You don't have to join but it is a sign that it's not sketchy lol.

How to download FFXIVQuickLauncher

Head over to the github repo for FFXIVQuickLauncher and scroll down to the "How to install the launcher" section for a link to the latest release or click here. Go down to "Assets" and click Setup.exe. ignore everything else we just need the .exe


After you have run the .exe, follow the prompts to install it and run it.

Launcher settings


When logging in, make sure you check "Use Steam Service account" if you play on steam, leave it blank if you don't.



Once you have downloaded and installed the launcher, click the gear at the bottom right to open the settings before logging in and launching the game. There are a few settings that need to be enabled first.



Go under the Dalamund settings and enable it.
